To satisfy the ever-changing needs of our clients we are always looking for new, quality programs and series for our Rights Portfolio. We are also always looking for great titles -- new or old -- to release on DVD. Professional producers wishing to have their programs considered for either our Rights Portfolio or DVD Catalog (or both), should study our online catalogs, read our FAQs (links to the left), and then complete our online Submissions Form.

We are looking for the following:

  1. Completed programs or series available for exclusive distribution to worldwide television, VOD, DVD/videogram and new media markets. Please browse our Rights Portfolio to better understand the kinds of content we distribute and license.
  2. Projects in development or partially-funded and in need of completion funding. These should be blue-chip television specials or one-hour documentaries, or formats (reality shows, etc.). We can launch them at MIPTV or MIPCOM in Cannes, seeking pre-sales, but must work on our Retainer Agreement. (This webpage is part of our Producer's Portal -- please email us at info@janson.com for a login and password to gain access.)
  3. Fully-underwritten programs or series for syndication to PBS stations in the United States via our PBS Syndication Model, which combines an effective station relations and publicity campaign that provides excellent carriage throughout the U.S. public television system for quality programming. This is a paid distribution model that must be financed by program funders seeking a national premiere on U.S. public television or an improvement in their carriage and viewership.
  4. Completed programs or collections available for exclusive release on DVD. Please browse our DVD Catalog to better understand the kinds of titles we publish.

We will only screen DVDs; please do not send videocassettes. Please allow four weeks for the review process. We will notify you of our decision by e-mail.

After we have received your Submissions Form, we will provide you with an ID and password to access our Producer's Portal, where you will find samples of our Traditional Distribution Agreement and Retainer Agreement, as well as more detailed information about how we work with producers and program suppliers.

Depending on your distribution needs and our assessment of your program's quality and potential in the marketplace, we will offer you offer you either Traditional Distribution Agreement or our Retainer Agreement, or direct you to our Consulting group.
