New Series Looks at Personal Finance and Investing

February 20th, 2006 · No Comments

Janson Media today announced the release to international television markets of MONEYTRACK (13 x 30′), a new weekly series that educates and inspires viewers to make wiser, more informed investment decisions. Each episode features stories about investing, personal finances and tips for avoiding common investment scams. Co-hosts Pamela Krueger and Jack Gallagher are joined by guests such as TV personality Ben Stein, syndicated personal finance writer Jane Bryant Quinn, and “Investing 101″ reporter Rob Black, who provide tips for those seeking to take greater control over their finances. “This is an entirely new breed of personal finance programming designed to educate consumers about saving, investing and protecting their assets,” said Krueger. “MONEYTRACK is designed to show consumers that they do not have to know everything about business or Wall Street in order to retire and live well.” Each episode contains lifestyle-driven segments using real people and providing step-by-step demonstrations designed to educate and empower the consumer. Every episode features the “Investing 101″ segment to illustrate important concepts, such as how to get started investing at any age and how to handle cash flow crunches and credit. The series also includes a layman’s guide to the global economy, and a “Scam Alert” report to help viewers avoid the most common frauds.

MONEYTRACK was produced by NETWorth Productions. Proceeds collected from recent settlements with Wall Street brokerage firms were used to fund the series through support from The Investor Protection Trust and the California Department Of Corporations. MONEYTRACK is now available to international television, DVD/video, VOD and IPTV markets exclusively from Janson Media.
