Janson Media today announced the release of the DVD, Kid Guides: Aquariums. An award-winning, weekly television series, Kid Guides follows two kid hosts as they travel the country and the world, visiting different best zoos, museums, aquariums, and other family destinations.
Kid Guides: Aquariums follows hosts Matt and Brittney to the most exciting aquariums across the country. Destinations include the Downtown Aquarium in Houston, Texas, where they learn about ecology and help train and feed White Tigers; the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago, Illinois, one of the top two aquariums in the U.S.; and the Monterey Bay Aquarium in Monterey, California, where they learn about the reefs of the California coast and explore the aquarium’s outdoor animal exhibits while scuba diving. Not only do Matt and Brittney explore these locations like regular tourists, they also go behind-the-scenes with interactive experiences that kids can only dream of.
Kid Guides is the winner of three Emmy ® Awards for Excellence in Children’s Programming, a “Seal of Approval” by the Parents Television Council (whose mission is to promote and restore responsibility and decency in the entertainment industry), two Parents’ Choice Awards (2006 & 2007) for Children’s Television, a CINE Golden Eagle for Children’s Television (2006) and World Media Festival Silver Globe (2006), among many other children’s and family entertainment awards.
