Janson Media today announced the release of the DVD Kid Guides: Kids Sea Camp Curaçao. The fourth title in the Kid Guides DVD Collection, Kids Sea Camp Curaçao is adapted from an award-winning, weekly television series. Kid Guides follows two young hosts, Matt and Brittney, as they travel the world visiting the best zoos, museums, aquariums, and other family destinations.
In Kid Guides: Kids Sea Camp Curaçao Matt refines his scuba skills by attending the certified kids’ program at Kids Sea Camp on the Caribbean island of Curacao. Matt dives the reefs to study underwater ecology, and learns a variety of skills including fish identification, underwater navigation, and underwater photography. Brittney attends Curacao’s Dolphin Academy, where she learns to be a dolphin trainer, She is taught to prepare food and care for the dolphins, and gradually learns to work with the dolphins as they practice their tricks. Jason attends the Seal Team Class at Kids Sea Camp, which is for 8, 9 and 10-year olds. There, he learns to scuba dive, advancing through a variety of “missions” such as dives with groupers and rays and dives in the open ocean.
Kid Guides is the winner of three Emmy ® Awards for Excellence in Children’s Programming, a “Seal of Approval” by the Parents Television Council, and two Parents’ Choice Awards (2006 & 2007) for Children’s Television, among many other children’s and family entertainment awards. The Kids Sea Camp Curaçao DVD was produced by Echo Entertainment, and is available exclusively through Janson Media.
