America's Heroes Past and Present, Honored For Veterans Day
Today Janson Media celebrates Veterans Day, a federal holiday meant to honor the service of American military veterans. Observed annually on November 11th, it marks the anniversary of Germany's signing of the Armistice Agreement which ended the grueling World War I. From the summer of 1914 to November 1918, the Great War cost over 14 million lives, devastated entire countries and destroyed countless architectural landmarks. The war also led to important developments in literature, technology, music and social equality that have shaped the culture of 21st century America. The compelling stories of those brave soldiers and their influence on the generations that followed them is told in the Janson DVD World War I: American Legacy (1 x 112'), available now.
