Chinese Viewers Take An Odyssey with 'Majestic White Horses'

Janson Media today announced that it has licensed the documentary Majestic White Horses (1 x 38') from its Giant Screen Films Collection to Legend International Company (LIC) of China. Originally filmed for release in IMAX® theaters, Majestic White Horses profiles the world's most renowned horses, the Lippizans of Austria.

Majestic White Horses captures the heart and mystique of this great animal, focusing on the world"s most famous horses, the Lippizans of Austria, and their home, the internationally famous Spanish Riding School of Vienna. From birth, through a horse"s youth and ultimately to the crowning achievement of its entrance into the School, the film follows the development of these incredible horses.Horses are and always have been an essential part of mankind"s development, culture and the history of human civilization. Our natural connection with and dependence on this most elegant and courageous animal is the stuff of both epic and historical fact through the ages. For literally thousands of years horses have helped humanity evolve and grow.

The Spanish Riding School is a Viennese legend and in today's ever-changing world a rare and irreplaceable part of world culture. For over four hundred years this Baroque masterwork of architecture has been the home and center of a unique and timeless classical style of riding. Of course, horses themselves are the main attraction of the film and part of the story retraces the fascinating quest for the true bloodline of this renowned animal. This quest takes the audience on a visual odyssey through Arabia, Morocco, Spain, and Slovenia.
