DVD of Guadalupe Film Hits #1 on Amazon, Set for Nationwide Rollout on ABC Stations

Janson Media today announced the release of the one-hour documentary film, Guadalupe: The Miracle and the Message(1 x 58') to worldwide television, VOD, digital, DVD and non-theatric markets.

Narrated by both Jim Caviezel (in English) and Placido Domingo (in Spanish), Guadalupe: The Miracle and the Message (Guadalupe: El Milagro Y El Mensaje) traces the history of the most important event in the evangelization of the New World from the 16th century to the present. This event was when the Virgin Mary, also named Our Lady of Guadalupe, appeared to an indigenous convert named Juan Diego and her image was miraculously imprinted on his cloak. Featuring interviews with leading theologians, historians and experts on the scientific inquiries into the miraculous image — this gripping film explores both the inexplicable mysteries behind the image, and the continued relevance of the Guadalupe apparition to the modern world.

The film is scheduled to air on ABC TV affiliates across the nation between October 11th and December 10th, through a partnership with the Interfaith Broadcasting Commission (IBC). Check here or check local listings for broadcast dates and times.
