Janson Media Inks Deal with Czech TV for Music Special 'California Dreamin'

Janson Media announced today that it has licensed California Dreamin': The Songs of the Mamas and the Papas to Ceska Televise of the Czech Republic. The one hour music special celebrates the harmonious pop rock group through vintage performance clips, home movies, and exclusive interviews. The special is set to air on January 1st, 2009. The Mamas and Papas was a vocal group created in 1965 by members Michelle Phillips, John Phillips, Denny Doherty, and Cass Elliot. Their hit songs included Monday, Monday, Dedicated to the One I Love, I Call Your Name, Words of Love, Dancing in the Street, I Saw Her Again, Creeque Alley, California Dreamin', and more. Fans of the Hall of Fame inductees will appreciate the rare footage of California Dreamin', some that has been unseen for 35 years.
