The book features over 300 wise and witty life lessons as told by Detective Chan to his Number One Son when summarizing the clues that solved his cases. The Little Red Book, which is the second most published book in history, is planned to be reissued in November. And, Charlie Chan fans will now be able to get Janson Media"s very own 'Little Red Book,' aka Quotations From Charlie Chan, a treasure chest of over 300 wise, witty and timeless life lessons as told by Detective Chan to his Number One Son. When summarizing the clues that solved his cases, Chan would give such advice as: &'When money talks, few are deaf.&'; &'Trouble rains on many already wet.&'; and, &'The impossible sometimes permits itself the luxury of occurring.&'

Quotations From Charlie Chan was originally published in conjunction with the Charlie Chan Film Festival at New York's Museum of Modern Art, which showcased twenty-one of 20th Century-Fox's most popular Chan films, 10 starring Warner Oland and 11 starring Sidney Toler. The character of Charlie Chan was created by Earl Derr Biggers, and all told, various studios produced a total of 46 Charlie Chan movies, a Hollywood record. The MOMA Festival began with the premiere of The Great Charlie Chan, a documentary produced by Harvey Chertok and Martha Torge, who also created Quotations From Charlie Chan. An updated version of the documentary, Hollywood's Great Charlie Chan, will soon be available on DVD. Additional New York special showings were arranged at the National Academy of Television Arts And Sciences, and The National Arts Club. And, following an important story about the documentary in The New York Times, it was scheduled as a feature presentation at the prestigious Mid-Atlantic Nostalgia Convention.
