Janson Media Seeks Co-Producer for True-Story Spy Movie

Janson Media is seeking a co-production partner for a true-story 'Mr. and Mrs.' spy movie with the working title, Meet Me In Cairo, about a daredevil Israeli spy and his new wife, and how they managed to eliminate a reborn Nazi threat in the Middle East by building V2 rockets with nerve gas warheads in the desert of Nasser"s Egypt in the 1960s.

Janson Media has a shooting script, a seven-hour recording of an exclusive debriefing of the spy, Wolfgang Lotz, about the details of his amazing mission with his new wife, and much production research. The debriefing of Mr. Lotz was with Harvey Chertok, Executive Producer of 'The Impossible Spy' (John Shea, Eli Wallach) the movie about another Israeli Master Spy, Elie Cohen, who was on a completely different mission in Syria when Lotz was in Egypt.

'Following a week-long visit and the recorded debriefing in his home, Mr. Lotz agreed to be a consultant for the movie production, and also gave me his permission to use his name and likeness,' Mr. Chertok stated.

&'In addition to being an extraordinary spy adventure, it is also a surprising and fascinating love story,&' noted Stephen Janson, President of Janson Media.

Beginning in 1958, Egyptian President, Gamel Abdel Nasser started to hire ex-Nazi rocket experts who worked in Germany"s Peenemunde V1 and V2 secret rocket factory which was responsible for the horrifying bombings of England in World War II. Learning of the growing danger, Israel"s Mossad began training Lotz, a blue-eyed, blond-haired Aryan, for a search and destroy mission that started in Cairo on January 1, 1960.

After the successful completion of their mission, this remarkable 'Mr. & Mrs.' spy team was captured quite accidentally, convicted, imprisoned, and then became the central figures in history"s biggest spy trade. Following the June 1967 Six-Day War, the couple was traded for Israel"s captured Egyptian Third Army -- some 4,000 soldiers including nine generals -- as fully reported by Time Magazine.

Janson Media brings the property to MIPTV in Cannes in search of co-producers for either a feature film or movie of the week.
