Janson Releases Short Indie Drama, Film Rocks Vimeo
Janson Media today announced the release of the short indie drama, Anomaly (37') to worldwide digital markets. The film secured primary production funding via Kickstarter, and launched to great fanfare on Vimeo as a 'staff pick.'
A short period drama set against the space-race canvas of the 1960s, Anomaly explores love, creation and the cosmos. An inspired re-interpretation of the historical Christmas Nativity story, the film is brilliantly imagined -- a story of broken relationships, principally that of a young couple navigating life's realities at a time when an unprecedented astronomical event of mystical significance takes center stage. Directed by Salomon Ligthelm and Dan DiFelice, and filmed on location in New York City, coastal Maine, Kansas, and Colorado, the film stars Christian Cooke, Lexi Johnson, Andrew Sensenig, and Anthony Lopez.
Noam Kroll called it 'a beautifully crafted film...The production value, attention to detail, nuanced performances, and overall quality of this film just speaks for itself.'
