Janson Signs Deal with Pine Ridge Film and Television
Janson Media announced today that it has entered into a global distribution agreement with Pine Ridge Film and Television, a multiple award-winning content production studio based in Jacksonville, Florida and founded by television industry veteran Jerry Smith. The agreement encompasses the management of Pine Ridge content on worldwide VOD platforms, broadcast and pay-tv distribution, as well as public television syndication in the United States.
Three informative lifestyle television series are part of the initial package of Pine Ridge content -- Getting Away Together, At the Chef's Table, and Animal Attractions TV. All three series had their initial runs on public television (PBS) stations nationwide, and all are now available on the Amazon Prime Video global streaming platform.
Getting Away Together (18 x 30') explores the rapidly growing trend of sharing a vacation with friends and family. From girlfriend getaways to family reunions and milestone celebrations, the series shows diverse groups of real travelers vacationing together in some of the most fascinating destinations and staying at spectacular vacation rental properties across America. Unlike other travel shows, Getting Away Together is the first lifestyle travel series to focus on the “togethering” trend in travel. Each episode features a new group of travelers as they unwind with meaningful travel experiences in fun locales, with vacation rentals as their home base.
At the Chef's Table (20 x 30') follows host Alex Boylan as he travels from coast to coast learning about the United States' most celebrated chefs. Each episode of At the Chef's Table focuses on a different chef in a different iconic restaurant location. Viewers get to take a peek inside the lives of world renowned chefs like Michelle Bernstein of Azul in Miami, Neil Murphy of Park Avenue Cafè in Manhattan, and Jesse Llapitan of Olivette in Houston.
Animal Attractions TV (45 x 30') is an adorable series that answers some of the most important questions pet owners (and potential pet owners) may have. The series features episodes that take an in-depth look at individual breeds like the Yorkshire Terrier or the Persian cat, and others that explore concepts like therapy dogs and eco-friendly pets. Beyond the valuable information Animal Attractions TV provides, each episode is full of adorable creatures from dogs and cats to horses and lizards. The series recently completed a successful run on U.S. SVOD platform, Hulu, and now moves to Amazon, Youtube, and others.
