Joan of Arc Docudrama Released Worldwide

Janson Media today announced the release of the award-winning docudrama Joan of Arc: Child of War, Solider of God (1 x 60') to worldwide television, VOD, digital platforms and non-theatrical markets. Produced by Odyssey Networks, the classic tale of the folk heroine is a cohesive depiction of her inspiring life, based on the actual testimony of Jeanne d'Arc.

Joan of Arc: Child of War, Soldier of Godtells the story of a poor French peasant girl who lead an army to defeat the invading English, crowned the King of France, and was burned at the stake for heresy. This film goes beyond the heroine"s tale to the depths of this young woman"s unique vision in a dark and violent world.

The legendary Joan of Arc was born 600 years ago in 1412, and only 17 years later she was leading the French army to liberate the city of Orleans, sealing her place in history. Her story is vividly chronicled in the docudrama Joan of Arc: Child of War, Soldier of God. Alfred Molina narrates, Anna Paquin is the Voice of Joan.
