Odisea Channel of Spain/Portugal Acquires Giant Screen Dinosaur Documentary

Janson Media announced today that it has licensed the Giant Screen Film title Dinosaurs: Giants of Patagonia to Odisea Channel, a pay TV channel of documentaries broadcasting in Spain and Portugal. Thanks to the magic of the giant screen, Dinosaurs: Giants of Patagonia hosted by Donald Sutherland provides a unique occasion to get a true experience of the incredible size and strength of these creatures that once roamed the Earth. Creatures that are even too big for an IMAX screen. The movie concentrates on the remarkable discoveries made in Patagonia, in the South of Argentina, by world-renowned paleontologist Rodolfo Coria. Lizard Kings, an educational program documenting the making of Dinosaurs: Giants of Patagonia, reveals the different stages of production that lead the film crew to bring Rodolfo Coria"s vision to life, is also available to television, VOD, DVD/video, and new media markets worldwide exclusively from Janson Media. Odisea is a documentary cable channel available in Spain and Portugal. Owned by Chello Multicanal (formerly Multicanal) of Chellomedia, Odisea was founded in 1996, and was one of the first Iberian cable channels ever. It presents various documentaries by BBC and Granada. Chellomedia produces and distributes a portfolio of thematic television channels in the key areas of movies, sport, entertainment, lifestyle, kids and documentaries; something for everyone in the family.
