RAI of Italy Acquires Three Giant Screen Films

Janson Media announced today it has licensed three of its Giant Screen Collection titles, Great North, Ocean Origins, and Volcanoes of the Deep Sea to RAI for free TV broadcast in Italy, Vatican City, San Marino, Capodistria and Monaco. The award winning Giant Screen Films Collection is distributed exclusively through Janson Media to international television, VOD and new media markets with domestic territories handled by K2 Communications. Filmed in IMAX, each documentary film or docudrama takes an in-depth look at intriguing subjects and locations from around the world, uncovering their mystique and beauty. RAI (Radiotelevisione Italiana) is the Italian state broadcaster and the biggest television company in Italy. It operates many television channels and radio stations, broadcasting in analog terrestrial, in digital terrestrial and in several satellite and IPTV offering. Its three main terrestrial channels are Rai Uno, Rai Due and Rai Tre.
