Toys 'R' Us Picks Up Select 'Travel with Kids' DVDs

Janson Media announced today that it has reached a deal with the world's largest youth products retailer Toys 'R' Us to sell select DVD titles from its Travel with Kids series. As per the acquisition, Travel with Kids episodes from Ireland, Paris, Mexico, New York, London, England, and Hawaii will be offered on the Toys 'R' Us website.

About The Travel With Kids Series Produced by husband and wife production team, Carrie & Jeremy, who caught the the travel bug early in life with childhood trips to Mexico, are now bringing their love and travel experiences to family audiences around the world with their series 'Travel With Kids.' After college & before real jobs, the duo put everything they had in a small storage unit, strapped on a couple of backpacks and set off for a one way journey around the world for 8 months. From Beijing to Mexico, they crossed 35 countries mostly overland. Upon returning and starting a 'normal life' the pair was told that they would never travel again once kids arrived. After heading to Spain and Morocco with their then 11-month old, and a trip to New York City with the kids then 3 and 1, Carrie & Jeremy encountered many 'how do you travel with kids' Questions. And so the idea of a video travel guide series by parents for parents and kids was born.

With jobs in the media industry, the duo put their skills and love of travel and family to work and have since filmed shows in over 20 destinations and counting. The series focus is on the amazing sights, sounds and experiences your child will encounter when they explore other cultures and ways of life, leaving the comforts of home. The shows emphasize direct contact with locals, staying in local villages, small guesthouses and taking cheap local transport. We believe adventure travel experiences teach children to adapt, be ready for anything and prepares them for challenges ahead. The educational benefits of learning about the world firsthand far outshine the sometimes difficult challenges of traveling with kids.
