Janson Announces Release of Award-Winning Doc 'Minds In The Water'

Janson Media today announced the release of the award winning documentary Minds in The Water: A Surfer's Journey from Apathy to Activism(1 x 86'). Produced by the Saltwater Collective, the film follows the transformation of David Rastovich, from an indifferent professional surfer to a passionate advocate for the ocean environment and its inhabitants. Dave answered his calling to protect the ocean's dolphins and whales through a five-year adventure spanning the globe from Australia to the Galapagos, Tonga, California, Alaska and Japan, inspiring others to join the journey along the way. Minds in the Water will available for international broadcast and DVD markets on May 15, 2013.

An epic tale of one man"s transformation from apathy to activism that is both beautifully and brilliantly directed and narrated by Justin Krumb and written by longtime Surfer magazine editor Steve Barliotti. The film emphasizes the duty of each individual to take a stand and is an empowering effort for all concerned citizens to become involved in the protection of the world"s oceans.
