Janson Docudramas Receive Crown Awards
The Miraculous Mission and Portrait of Courage: The Untold Story of Flight 93 together garnered seven Crown Awards bestowed by the International Christian Visual Media Association (ICVMA) at its recent conference in Denver. Both films were produced by Grizzly Adams® Productions. The ICVMA is an international consortium of producers and distributors that are making a difference in the world through faith-based visual media.
'Both films strive to reflect the role of faith in our world,' said David Balsiger, Grizzly Adams" vice president. Portrait of Courage tells of the heroic passengers and crew aboard the doomed United jetliner on Sept. 11, 2001, while at the same time addresses spiritual questions raised by the tragedy. The Miraculous Mission is the story of the Twelve Apostles interwoven with commentary from today"s scholars, archaeologists, scientists, and theologians. Both programs are available from Janson Media exclusively for international television and DVD/video markets.
