Janson Investigates the Bitcoin Phenomenon
Janson Media today announced the release of The Bitcoin Story to worldwide television, VOD, and digital markets. The 30-minute short film is a fast-paced series of conversations about Bitcoin"s founding, its core technology, its libertarian politics, and its potential to transform financial services. Leading technologists, visionaries, entrepreneurs, and venture capitalists offer their perspectives on Bitcoin, examining what made it possible, who it attracts, and what the faithful see as the future of this phenomenon. The film covers the history, the technology, and the clash between the politics of early-adopters and the venture capitalists and entrepreneurs gearing up to take Bitcoin mainstream. Will the establishment interests of Wall Street and Silicon Valley be able to neutralize the radical politics of this movement?
The Bitcoin Story features interviews with virtually all of the central figures in the bitcoin movement. Produced by Bhu Srinivasan"s U.S.-based independent production company SQ1.tv, the film was originally called The Bitcoin Phenomenon. In the spirit of bitcoin itself, Srinivasan released the film worldwide on Youtube and Vimeo, for free.
