Janson Takes on Bigger Role with Travel with Kids Franchise
Janson Media announced today that it has signed a longterm executive production and distribution deal with Equator Creative Media for the popular travel brand and media franchise Travel with Kids. Janson Media is the worldwide distributor for the Travel with Kids television series, and also publishes and manufactures DVDs derived from the series. The new agreement calls for Janson Media to expand its role beyond television and DVD distribution, to include executive production and brand management.
Janson will also be involved in raising financing for the production and syndication of new episodes of the series. Initial plans call for a nationwide release on public television (PBS) stations of the first season of Travel with Kids, in February 2011, concurrent with the nationwide launch of a DVD gift box featuring 26 episodes from the series, to be sold in Costco, Sam's Club, Walmart and Target stores across the country. A Travel with Kids companion e-book will also be available.

Effective with the fourth season of the popular series, Stephen Janson has become its Executive Producer, and the series is now produced in association with Janson Media. The company has successfully distributed Travel with Kids to a host of international territories, including Italy, Finland, Poland, Israel, Turkey, Canada, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Georgia, and the entire continent of Latin America. Hawaiian Airlines has licensed content from the series, and it is being launched as a format for foreign language broadcasters at MIPTV in Cannes, in April 2011.
Travel with Kids airs 24/7/365 on YouTube, on the jansonmedia channel. Fans can also follow the comings and goings of the Roberts Family as they travel the world, on Facebook, or at their blog.
