Whether it"s Grizzlies in Alaska, tornadoes in Tornado Alley, waterfowl of the east coast or poisonous snakes in the Amazon, Wild Photo Adventures delivers useful tips on where to go, how to find wild subjects and how to photograph them in new and creative ways. In the thrilling new season, Doug explores the walruses of the Alaskan coast, braves the frigid temperature of Wyoming to capture big horn sheep and so much more.

Doug, a South Carolina native, brings a passion and excitement to the screen that not only entertains but informs viewers. He has been tripping the shutter for over twenty seven years and now shares his new and creative techniques with the world. While other photographers are shooting from the comforts of their vehicle or a boardwalk, Doug is sloshing through the mud and muck of South America or braving the elements of sub-zero temperatures in the tundra to get just the right shot. His unique style of an &'eye-level&' perspective has required him to spend as long as two weeks in the top of a cypress tree and has sent him swimming with alligators. His work has taken him to the depths of the Amazon to photograph animals never before documented.

Doug Gardner is a freelance wildlife photographer based out of Manning, South Carolina. Though Gardner specializes in wildlife/nature photography, his services have also been requested for commercial work nation-wide. The award winning photographer has had over 20,000 of his images published in magazines, books, calendars, newspapers and numerous other stock projects all across the globe.
