Giant Screen Film Box Office Hit "Dinosaurs 3D" Now Available to TV Worldwide

Janson Media today announced the release to worldwide television, VOD, DVD/video, and new media markets of Dinosaurs: Giants of Patagonia, a documentary film that carries the audience through the lives of two of the largest living creatures to have ever roamed the planet. Dinosaurs follows producer Rodolfo Coria, a world-reknowned Argentinian paleontologist, to Patagonia in the south of Argentina where Coria made his remarkable discoveries. Firmly based in science, the film takes viewers back in time, bringing to life the Argentinosaurus, a giant herbivore that could reach 100 tons and 120 feet in length, and the Gigantosaurus, a 15 meter long meat-eating predator that was even bigger than the famous T-Rex. The action is intense and the landscape is out of this world. At times, the camera takes the audience into space to witness the movement of the tectonic plates or the arrival of a comet that will seal the fate of the dinosaurs. Lizard Kings, an educational program documenting the making of Dinosaurs: Giants of Patagonia, reveals the different stages of production that lead the film crew to bring Rodolfo Coria's vision to life. Coria helps director Marc Fafard with the difficult task of recreating the giant creatures for the large format screen. The team of talented creators speak about their experience, from early conception to full 3D animation of the dinosaurs. Plenty of tongue-in-cheek animations provide insightful, less known facts and informations as well as fun trivia quizzes about paleontology. Dinosaurs: Giants of Patagonia (1 x 47') was produced in 2007 and is now available to television, VOD, DVD/video, and new media markets worldwide exclusively from Janson Media.
