Jazz Concert Series, Live from Porgy & Bess, Vienna
Janson Media today announced the release of LIVE FROM VIENNA (8 X 60&'²) to worldwide television markets. The concert series was filmed over three days in 2005 at Vienna"s famous jazz club &'Porgy & Bess,&' and features the world"s most famous bass players in an intimate performance setting. Interwoven with concert footage are interviews with the artists.

#101: Niels-Henning Orsted Pedersen (Denmark), Arni Egilsson (Iceland), and Wayne Darling accompanied by Fritz Pauer on piano and John Hollenbeck on drums.
#102: Duncan McTier (UK) accompanied by Rebecca Woolcock (piano)
#103: Miroslav Vitous (Czech Republic) with symphonic orchestra samples
#104: Kristin Korb (USA) accompanied by Fritz Pauer on piano and John Hollenbeck on drums.
#105: Barre Phillips (USA/France) accompanied by John Hollenbeck on piano and drums.
#106: Rufus Reid (USA) accompanied by Fritz Pauer on piano and John Hollenbeck on drums.
#107: Bass Instinct (Austria) includes bass players Georg Breinschmid, Peter Herbert, Tommaso Huber, Herbert Mayr, Gerhard Muthspiel and Ernst Weissensteiner.
#108: Circus Bassissimus, the first Austrian double-bass quartet.
LIVE FROM VIENNA was produced by Filmwerkstatt Wien and directed by Barbara Weissenbeck. The series is now available exclusively from Janson Media for worldwide television, VOD, and IPTV licensing.
