'Kilimanjaro: Going for Broke' Set to Air on Resort Sports Network

announced today that its film Kilimanjaro: Going for Broke (1 x 52') -- a finalist at the Banff Mountain Festival in November 2006 -- is airing on Resort Sports Network (RSN), a outdoor sports cable network in the U.S. where films entered in the festival are featured. Directed and produced by Richard Heap and Ben Pritchard of Slackjaw Films, Kilimanjaro: Going for Broke, is about a group of climbers, all of whom have suffered severely as a result of climbing accidents, getting together to ascend Kilimanjaro. This inspirational film follows the climbers, all seriously disabled, as they share their passion for the mountains and the determination to make the most of every opportunity, all while climbing the highest peak in Africa. As the four climbers (Paul Pritchard and Jamie Andrew among them) arrive at the foothills of Kilimanjaro and begin the ascent, viewers learn about their accidents and see the challenges their physical handicaps present.
