New Season of "Tracks Ahead"

Janson Media today announced the worldwide release of the DVD, TRACKS AHEAD: GREAT MODEL TRAIN LAYOUTS. Filmed in high-definition, the DVD is adapted from Season 5 of the award-winning public television series, TRACKS AHEAD, and features twelve of the most incredible model train layouts across America. Layouts include New Jersey"s Northlandz Attraction, Florida"s Cypress Gardens Model Railroad, the Decoster Garden Layout of Connecticut, the Lash Layout in Washington, D.C., the Baldwin Layout in Georgia, the Gray Layout in California, the Robinson Layout in Pennsylvania, the Watson and Trautwein Layouts in Wisconsin, the Strong Layout in Maryland, and a feature on Lionel Model Trains. Extra features on this DVD include profiles of photographer Ted Benson and Doyle McCormack and his Famous Steam Engine, and visits to Washington"s Union Station, Wisconsin"s Whiskey River Railway, the Terminal Railroad of St. Louis, and the Ringling Circus Train.

TRACKS AHEAD, the television series, was produced by Milwaukee Public Television, and is hosted by Spencer Christian in a magazine-style format with four segments per episode. Season 6 of TRACKS AHEAD (14 x 30&'²), produced in 2005 and also filmed in HDTV, is now available exclusively from Janson Media for worldwide television, VOD and IPTV licensing. The first five seasons of the series (65 x 30&'²), produced between 1994 and 2002, are also available for worldwide television, VOD, IPTV and DVD markets.
