New Series Showcases Best of Silent Comedy Era
Janson Media today announced the worldwide release of the television series, SLAPHAPPY to worldwide markets. SLAPHAPPY is the most exhaustive and exhilarating compilation of silent comedy"s funniest moments. Fast-paced, funny and frenetic, the series showcases 75 famous and forgotten comedians in over 400 brilliant comedy clips. A delight for comedy fans of all ages, each episode includes superb quality clips, rare stills, sound effects, lively narration, and a scintillating hot jazz soundtrack from Stomp Off Records.
The thirty episodes are also available as a 10-disc set of DVDs for worldwide DVD publishers or as one 90-minute special called SLAPHAPPY: THE MOVIE. SLAPHAPPY was produced by California-based Fishigan Films, and was written and directed by Larry Stefan. Both the television series and DVD collection are now available exclusively from Janson Media for worldwide television, VOD, IPTV, and DVD licensing.
