"Great Train Journeys" DVD Now Available Worldwide

Janson Media today announced the worldwide release of the DVD, TRACKS AHEAD: GREAT TRAIN JOURNEYS. The DVD is adapted from Season 5 of the award-winning public television series, TRACKS AHEAD, and features twelve of the greatest train journeys of the world — the Great South Pacific Orient Express of Australia, Mexico"s Copper Canyon, Australia"s Barossa Wine Train, San Francisco"s Cable Cars, the Conway Scenic Railroad of New Hampshire, the Ghan Railway of Australia, a Ride on the Zephyr from Chicago to the Rocky Mountains with Henry Kisor, Australia"s Indian Pacific Railroad, New Zealand"s Taieri Gorge Railway, the Railroads of New Zealand, Australia"s Puffing Billy, and the Trains of Cuba. Extra features on this DVD include a profile of artist John Bromley, and visits to the Baltimore Railroad Club, Idaho"s Silverwood Central Railway, the Kentucky Railroad Museum, the St. Louis Car Company, and New York"s Hellgate Bridge. TRACKS AHEAD, the television series, was produced by Milwaukee Public Television, and is hosted by Spencer Christian in a magazine-style format with four segments per episode. Season 6 of TRACKS AHEAD (14 x 30&'²), also filmed in HDTV, is now available exclusively from Janson Media for worldwide television, VOD and IPTV licensing. Season 6 was produced in 2005; the first five seasons of the series (65 x 30&'²), produced between 1994 and 2002, are also available for worldwide television, VOD, IPTV and DVD markets.
